While Orgoo video chat is a great service for lifecasting and meeting new people in public chat rooms, we are also very focused on enabling people to video chat with their friends in private.  Your Skype analogy is a good one, but I would add that with Orgoo there is nothing to download, you can have a video conversation with multiple friends at the same time, and you can invite anyone to participate regardless of which IM network they are on.

Video chat is not intended as a deviation away from our core product of integrated communications.  Rather, we see video chat as an important piece of the communications experience, particularly as webcams become ubiquitious.  We chose to launch video chat first, but we are continually giving out beta accounts to Orgoo and will be giving out far more in the coming weeks.
