		<description>You know, PARC made lots of money for Xerox.  Yes, they ignored laser printing, bit-mapped personal computers and ethernet.  On the other hand my understanding is that some (straightforward relative to the inventions above) work they did on copiers paid off far more than PARC ever cost.

At least that was the story when I was there. Great computing environment and I for one never worried nor was asked about the wider impact of what I was doing.</description>
