I only have very basic cable (13 channels) since I don’t have much time for TV. I think that the TV video downloads on XBL are great since it is, in my case, more cost efficient to only pay for and download what I really want to watch. I can’t see paying $50 – $75 a month for full cable when I may only need to spend $10 or less on XBL to see certain shows each month. Right now I really only want to see Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil so its $2 an episode (and the first one was free anyhow.)

@Jimi – the selection isn’t that great for movies on xbox live here in the U.S. either, but the overall experience is pretty nice.

I use my Xbox 360 alot, mostly for games, but I also talk on MSN while I play, and I use it to talk to friends when I don’t have anything so important to say that I feel like calling them. I have yet to rent a movie from Xbox Live, but I think I will sometime – I live in Canada where the selection of movies available on the Marketplace isn’t as great as it is in the USA.
