Sorry, still don’t understand what’s the big hype around Twitter. Plenty of sites are in Japanese and several of them have ads!

People who use it seems like they have nothing to do with lots of free time.

@Robert – indeed. Though I will say that upon seeing the screenshot from Japan, it really does not look bad at all. I’m kind of surprised they are only doing a square top corner unit and not in-stream ads. Certainly I’m all for them making some money if they can keep the service up and running

Um.. well, interesting how the perception is “poor Japan”. The recent agreement between Biz and Digital Garage in Tokyo did include to use the localization in Japanese as a sandbox… for the inclusion of ads in the main ENGLISH interface as well. Sympathy for all us.
