Find your favorite clip art on Google Image Search

Google Image Search, which already makes it possible to search images by different visual styles, just added clip art and line drawings today, according to the company’s blog.

The site also recently introduced the ability to limit image results to photos or faces. Now you can specify whether you want a photo of Santa or some generic clip art of Jolly Old Saint Nick (please, pick the former) without having to type in “photo” or “clip art” in the search query. That makes it easier to hone in on the type of image you’re actually looking for.

I just wish there was a simple way to limit your search to images that are available under a Creative Commons license. I understand that’s not an easy request, but until it happens, most of the random images you see on VentureBeat will continue to come from flickr.
